La Nostra Storia
Emma and Matteo met in 2021 in Boston, and now they're getting married!
Matteo was intrigued when Emma's dating profile said she was looking for a "bookclub for two". They now have twice as many books. They of course kept both copies of Borges's Labyrinths because they're pretentious.
Emma knew they were going to get married when Matteo made bread for her. He continues to make bread weekly, so she can never leave.
The first time Matteo entered Emma's apartment, she warned him "I have a cat, is that ok?" Little did she know he is the scion of a long line of cat ladies. Nero prefers Matteo's lap.
Now they're excited to get all their favorite people together to celebrate their wedding!
Emma e Matteo si sono conosciuti nel 2021 a Boston, e adesso si sposano!
Matteo è rimasto incuriosito quando il profilo di dating di Emma diceva che cercava un "club del libro per due". Ora hanno il doppio dei libri. Hanno ovviamente tenuto entrambe le copie dei Labirinti di Borges, perché sono pretenziosi.
Emma ha capito che si sarebbero sposati quando Matteo le ha fatto il pane. Lui continua a farlo ogni settimana, così lei non potrà mai andarsene.
La prima volta che Matteo è entrato nell'appartamento di Emma, lei lo ha avvertito: "Ho un gatto, è un problema?" Non sapeva che lui è l'erede di una lunga stirpe di gattare. Nero preferisce stare sulle gambe di Matteo.
Adesso sono felici di invitare tutte le loro persone preferite a festeggiare il loro matrimonio!

We will host you for two nights (Sep 11 and Sep 12) at Sextantio, an Albergo Diffuso in the medieval village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio in the heart of Abruzzo's Gran Sasso mountains.
Vi ospiteremo per due notti (11 e 12 Settembre) presso Sextantio, un albergo diffuso all'interno di Santo Stefano di Sessanio, nel cuore del Gran Sasso.

Every room has been carefully restored using original materials while incorporating modern fixtures and bathrooms, creating an authentic yet comfortable experience. You'll feel like you're living in the medieval village while enjoying contemporary comforts.
Sextantio è un "albergo diffuso" unico dove ogni camera degli ospiti si trova in un edificio medievale diverso nel borgo. Ogni stanza è stata accuratamente restaurata utilizzando materiali originali incorporando al contempo arredi moderni e bagni, creando un'esperienza autentica ma confortevole. If you're reading this page in English, this is probably a long trip for you. We understand that, and are so grateful that you're making it.
Check-in will be available on Sep 11th after 3pm. Check out will be on Sep 13th by 11am. These times may be a little flexible, if you need accomodations please let us know.
We will have a welcome dinner on the evening of Sep 11, and will provide every meal after that until breakfast on the 13th. You know us, you will be fed.
Il check-in sarà possibile l'11 settembre dopo le 15:00. Il check-out dovrà avvenire entro le 11:00 del 13 settembre. Questi orari sono leggermente flessibili, se avete bisogno di adattamenti fatecelo sapere.
Organizzeremo una cena di benvenuto la sera dell'11 settembre e provvederemo a tutti i pasti fino alla colazione del 13. Ci conoscete, non rimarrete a stomaco vuoto.

Santo Stefano di Sessanio is a charming medieval village far from major cities, offering a peaceful escape in nature. The area is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails in the Gran Sasso mountains.

Welcome Dinner Dress Code: Smart Casual (i.e. wear casual but make it cute).

Weather: September in Abruzzo is typically warm during the day (20-25°C / 68-77°F) and cooler in the evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl.

High heels are NOT recommended. The village streets are cobblestone, so we suggest comfortable, flat shoes or wedges.
